Marquee Film Productions was established by filmmaker, Dominic Ozanne, to make premium documentaries for mainstream broadcasters.

 

Starting out with a background in investigative journalism and current affairs we made a film for BBC1's  Inside Story shot inside a secure unit for children who have committed the most serious crimes, including murder, and a C4 Dispatches that was the first piece of investigative journalism to identify Osama Bin Laden as the sponsor of acts of international terrorism, five years ahead of 9/11.

We've got a particular interest in Africa and have made a feature doc, shot over five years, about an African king and his search for a wife for BBC Storyville and another film, shot over five years, about teenage footballers in South Africa that was shown in the BBC This World strand.

We are currently in post-production on a feature doc, shot over six years, about a ballet dancer from the Cape Flats, one of the most violent places on earth.
